Getting Started in 3 Simple Steps

Connecting your Jimi IoT tracker is straightforward. Follow these steps to get online in minutes.

Step 1: Download the Ruhavik App

First, get the app on your preferred device. It is available on:

• Google Play
• App Store
• Or use the Web version from any browser.

Step 2: Create Your Account and Add Your Device

Inside the app, register for a new account. Once logged in:

1. Tap the “+” icon to add a new unit (your vehicle).
2. Select your Jimi IoT tracker model from the list.
3. Enter your device’s unique ID/IMEI number.
4. Save the settings.

Step 3: Configure Your Jimi IoT Tracker

Next, you need to point your tracker to the GPS-Trace server. This is usually done by sending SMS commands to the SIM card in your tracker.

Set the following parameters on your device:

• Server and Port: Use the values from the Hardware tab in unit settings
• Time Zone: Set to UTC 0.
• APN Settings: Use your SIM card provider’s APN (username and password if required)
