2. SIM Card Installation

Before use, ensure that the SIM card supports both GPRS and SMS services. Insert the SIM card properly into the device. It’s crucial for enabling data transmission and communication with the tracking platform.

3. Operation Guide

3.1 Setting SOS Numbers

You can configure SOS numbers via the mobile app, GPS tracking platform, or SMS commands (only valid in tracking mode).

  • To add SOS numbers:
    SOS,A,number1,number2,number3#
    Example: SOS,A,1351234xxxx,1371234xxxx,1301234xxxx#
  • To delete SOS numbers:
    SOS,D,sequence1,sequence2,sequence3#
    Example: SOS,D,1,2,3#
  • To check current SOS numbers:
    Send SOS# via SMS.

3.2 Setting Working Mode

The JM-LG01 supports two working modes via SMS:

  • Mode 1: MODE,1,T1,T2#
    GSM remains active.
    T1: Upload interval (10–1800 seconds)
    T2: Working duration (5–43200 minutes)
    Note: If T1 ≥ 360 seconds, GSM will enter sleep mode after uploading to save power.
  • Mode 2: MODE,2,T1,T2#
    T1: Start time in HH:MM format
    T2: Reporting interval (1–360 hours, default is 24 hours)
    Note: GPS remains off by default and only Wi-Fi anchor points are reported.

3.3 Low Battery Alert

When the battery level drops below a certain threshold, the JM-LG01 automatically triggers a low battery alarm to alert the user.

4. Platform & Mobile App

4.1 Login to Service Platform

Visit the designated JimiIoT service platform to manage your device settings and track asset locations in real-time.

4.2 Download the App

The app can be downloaded from the official JimiIoT website, Apple App Store, or Google Play. It offers remote configuration, live tracking, and real-time alerts.
